Come hear how Oregon and Arizona are becoming greener and learn from other parts of the country. Guests: From OREGON Lori Stole, Manager of Sustainable Oregon Schools www.sustainableschools.org; and Phil Ross, Founder of Metrofiets www.metrofiets.com. From ARIZONA Bill Sheaffer, Executive Director Valley of the Sun Clean Cities Coalition; and Ron Hubart
from the Coconino County Sustainable Economic Development Program. >>> What makes a Metrofiets? Patience and time. We measure, bend, hammer, file and polish steel – turning it into a work of art. The kind of art you can ride around town on. The kind of art that turns heads and leaves people wanting more.

Our designs are inspired by Danish and Dutch cargo bikes as well as the classic bicycle styles produced in the US during the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s. Drawing on that grand tradition, we create bikes that are made from lightweight steel and use modern components. We like clean lines, curves and things that work without a lot of fuss.

We are not alone in our pursuit of building the perfect cargo bike. We work with the best and brightest in the industry which is why we can offer the best of class in paint, wheel builds, headsets and custom fabrication available on the market today.
