In this episode, we discuss the main argument in Plato's Euthyphro, as well as the problem of definition more broadly. My guest is John Brown, who is an Associate Professor Emeritus in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Maryland. We will focus on his seminal 1964 article "The Logic of the Euthyphro 10A-11B," The Philosophical Quarterly 14 (1964): 1-13.
