Known as the Salvador Dali of music Lee "Scratch" Perry is one of the foremost music makers in the world. So many genres such as reggae, dub, dancehall hip hop, techno, punk, trap and drill owe as a debt of gratitude to this audio alchemist. Responsible for legends such as The Wailers, Max Romeo, the Congos and Junior Murvin.
It was the work that Perry and the Wailers that became some of the raw material for the Island record albums. Perry perfected Marley's vocal styling and songwriting skills during their partnership. Scratch continues to tour the world well into his 70s and is revered as one of the real shamans of sonic architecture.
