Authentic - The Power of Your Words - James 3v1-12 - Audio

Jesus' half-brother, James, said of the power of our words, "And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell." And we know he's right. Just look around at all the fires started by just a few scorching words. But that does not have to be the end of the story. For all the potential of our words to hurt, they also have immense potential for help, healing, and love--especially when we surrender their use to the power of the Spirit of God.
