Martin Yates, a soulful singer/songwriter from the U.K brings a renewed, fresh and honest element to music that hasn’t been heard in years. Yates, a songwriter unafraid to delve into the depths of the most personal moments in his life, is an artist in a category all by himself. With just 4 singles under his belt, Martin Yates has the ability to not only bring people in by his lyrics, but also the way his voice is undeniably telling a story along with it.

At just 24, Yates is an artist not only known for his songwriting technique, but a raw performer that knows no borders in giving his audience a night to remember. With a sold out show at Birmingham’s ‘The Sunflower Lounge’ in February 2019 and a show at prestigious venue ‘O2 Academy 3 Birmingham’, Martin has honed his craft both in the studio and also live.

With 2017’s much hyped about single ‘Fire In My Heart’, Yates saw himself receiving national radio play, as well as performing up and down the country including shows at various venues around London. The single has become his most known song with his audience.

Martin Yates has created a genre all for himself, first introduced with 2019's 'Lay It On Me', followed by brand new single 'Let Your Love', Yates' only offering of 2020. Following the lead single, November 2020 saw the release of the acoustic rendition, gaining over 24,000 streams combined since November. His latest single, ‘Yesterday’, is set for release in February.
