Marten Falls First Nation Chief Bruce Achneepineskum was born on a trap line 40 km from the Eagle's Nest Mine site in what is now called the Ring of Fire. He talks to Alan Coutts about his early years living on the land, why he decided to return and serve on his community council and what inspired him to become Chief. He also shares his vision for the future, how he would like to see First Nations participate in government and industry outreach and the benefits that development can bring to First Nations communities.
