Episode #007: Internationally collected Abstract Painter K.C. Tebbutt upholds the traditional mandala lineage of Lin Chien Shih and Jack Wise with brilliant contemporary interpretations in light, color and organic abstraction. His work has become synonymous with metaphysical explorations within the surfaces of works on rice paper. He is the Art Director and Founder of Untitled and a Founding Artist of ENDANGERED. K.C. has the ability to honor ancient knowledge as it passes through the circle of creative innovation.

Visionary and fine artist KC Tebbutt is an abstract painter who works with rice paper, Chinese brush and ink, minerals and oil in a process that integrates techniques learned through association with Asian artists to create contemporary discoveries in the timeless tradition of the mandala.

Perhaps the mandala is the very symbol of consciousness, dedication, skill and direction. On every continent the mandala has been used to bring forth the invisible, to record the seasons, directions, or elements that might otherwise be intangible.

The circle as a visual reference reawakens consciousness and contains meditative properties; created for bringing balance to the atmosphere of both the internal and external worlds.

Visitors to the Untitled Fine Art gallery in Taos, NM are invited into the Meditation Room for a display of changing light conditions that bring forth the subtle layers of each masterfully created piece.
