Matthews: "We're as pissed off as you can be"

Atlanta Falcons left tackle Jake Matthews joined Dukes & Bell.

Matthews talked about Aaron Donald and what the team’s plan to contain him.

 “He’s proven himself to be a really good player in this league and it’s going to be a challenge.” Matthews said “But we’re looking forward to it, we have a good plan, and it started today with the way practice went and we’re just going to build that confidence and go out there and get a win.”

 When asked about the struggles of the Rams.

“They still have a really good team.” Mathews said “There’s a lot of talent, they’re not to be taken lightly at all, and we have stuff to prove as well, so we’re looking forward to going out and just executing and playing a complete game and getting a win.”

Jake told the guys the team is as angry as anyone.

 “That’s the way I kinda see it.” Matthews said “It’s a results league, if you’re not winning you’re not doing it right, so we have to start winning again, that’s our plan. We’re as pissed off as you can be now it’s just about going out and proving it so that’s where we are at.”
