As we get closer to election day, the buzz around the campaign has hit a fever pitch. Gone are the kitten videos from our Facebook feeds, replaced now with a lot of hate, lies and negative comments about both candidates. We are a country divided, and with candidates so opposite one another, it is no wonder we as a people are polarized.
Why do we align ourselves with certain candidates? Do we see some of ourselves in them or are we looking for a parent figure to take care of us? Why do we stand our ground, sometimes blindly ignoring the facts, simply to prove we are right? This week the Dudes get into where all this is coming from and why these two candidates drum up so much emotion in us.
