Sports are a very dominant and defining part of our culture, whether it be playing or watching them. There are also a lot of stereotypes around sports as well: Dudes need to like sports, athletes are stupid jocks, girls who are into sports are tomboys, and if you’re a man and you aren’t into sports, well you’re just weird. These hangups are ingrained in us at a young age, and stick with us for the rest of our lives.
It might seem trivial, but we have judgment around others depending on where we fall in line regarding sports. This week, which happens to be Superbowl Sunday, arguably the biggest sporting event of the year, the Dudes take on some controversial topics related to sports.
