Bernice Burgos currently resides in the State of New Jersey with her loving husband, two teenage kids, and her fur baby Fancy. She holds a Master's in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in Political Science. She has an extensive background working in the non-profit sector and holds the title of Director of National Programs at her employment. When she is not working her full-time job, she dedicates her time to giving back to the community.

Bernice began her writing journey as a poet, then ventured into writing Dark Urban Romance (which left her extremely somber). She geared away from writing in those two genres and took flight into the world of Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy.
