If you know the NATO Phonetic Alphabet, you understand the roots of Hotel Tango. The "H" stands for Hillary and "T" for Travis - the couple who started Hotel Tango with four other law school classmates - and the reference exemplifies the foundation of the company: To make spirits that anyone can be proud to serve. Travis, a veteran of the United States Marine Corp was proud to serve his country for three terms in Iraq. when he returned to Indianapolis to attend law school, he realized that his laid back, rich-surfer vibe and passion for distilling far surpassed the desire to become a tax attorney.  As Travis and his colleagues learned more about the liquor laws in Indiana, they saw an opportunity that was too good to pass up. With the mantra of “whatever you’re going to be, be a good one” as a guide, they embarked on a journey to open the first artisan distillery in Indianapolis since prohibition.
