In episode #8 of the Down In The Dirt Podcast,
I talk with my teammate from the last 2 years, Peter Pena.
Pete takes us through his journey of playing baseball in the Northeast and how different it is because of the weather. He talks to us about his love of baseball, where that came from and how he was a 2 sport athlete before deciding to pursue baseball. Pete went on to play college baseball before he broke into professional baseball, so he takes us through that journey and through his recruiting process along with some of the adversity he had to go through along the way. Pete talks about his experiences in Professional Baseball, including winning a championship in his first season and how he has developed not only as a player, but also as a hitter and how that development could lead to him continuing to be promoted in the game. We also have a guest appearance at the end of the show so stayed tuned to see how peaks their head in!
