#53: Teamwork in Fighting Games

Android 17/18 announced with SSG Blue Goku and Vegeta, NRS Fighter Pack Season 2, Black Manta Gameplay, Tekken 7 Bowling is here, Pokken Tournament DX Demo makes Pikachu, Charizard, and Empoleon playable, Capcom reveals SFV Menat, Focus Attack is Dissidia and the 3 vs 3 trend.

Super Saiyans and gods of the DC Universe/Marvel Universe are truly invading the Double Tap podcast this time. CrashTag & Mezza bring forth a really interesting topic on three vs three game concepts as a Focus Attack, but they dive deep into the game updates. Capcom comes with some new Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite content -- Metro City and Dark Kingdom stage, and a new story trailer that will make you want to watch the story more then play it. Training room has a small reveal, but Chun Li's face got the fix of all fixes... Her face!



DragonBall Fighter Z got the exposure of a life time with the reveals of, androids 16, 17, 18, and SSGSS Goku & Vegeta. Android 18 and Piccolo both have references that show their moves through out the anime and manga stories. GamesCon really shows off their game play and how the characters work. Namco drops a bomb with Tekken 7 bowling, and some interesting costumes for the whole cast. NetherRealms fighter pack 2 was announced, and CrashTag gives a crash course on the new characters Raiden, Black Manta, and Hellboy. Discussion of Black Manta's moveset confuses the team what is gear and whats not.



Capcom reveals their orb throwing Pharaoh, and she is a force to be reckon with. Pokken Tournament DX demo is released with access to Pikachu, Charizard, and Empoleon. Randoms Of The FGC brings us marriages in arcades, SNK announcing more games to come, Arms community in an uproar about controller layout, and Absolver the new marital arts fighting game is on the rise. The team hits a, "Focus Attack" of the 3 vs 3 trend in fighting games appearing, and their thoughts on the Dissidia Beta that is taking place currently.
