Today Bates and James have the pleasure of talking to Greg Tanner, founder of the now legendary Streetball.co.uk. Greg has carved out a reputation as one of Britain's leading basketball experts and this show is a real treat for UK fans.
In 2009, Nike chose Greg as the host for NBA megastar LeBron James' special visit to its Midnight Madness bootcamp event. After introducing the two-time MVP to around 200 young ballers, specially invited guests and media, Greg conducted a 20 minute interview session with LeBron, before taking questions from the audience.
In October 2010, Greg was chosen as the host for an exclusive Kobe Bryant Q&A session for winners of a Footlocker House Of Hoops competition.
Greg introduced the five-time NBA champion before interviewing him in front of specially invited guests and media.
One of Kobe's answers from the interview session caused quite a stir - quickly racking up nearly 1 million views on YouTube, and getting airtime on ESPN, NBC and NBA TV.
More recently Greg was a basketball producer at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
