Being a Chicago Sports Fan, Rivalries, and LaurenDIY Does a What Now?

Cody from The Sky Is Falling Podcast joined the show to talk about what it’s like being involved in the Cubs-White Sox rivalry. He grew up with St. Louis Cardinals fans who scarred his poor little 12-year-old brain.

Aside from chirping at Cardinals fans on Twitter, Cody’s hobbies include eating an entire jar of mayonnaise on a live stream because the Cubs swept the Dodgers. He also gives some insight as to what it’s like working in the rich part of Chicago. Paying to go to the beach is a real thing.

The show concluded with some real talk about podcasting and how to grow shows from the ground up with no marketing budget. Cody explained how he may do things to grow shows and even threw in a free tip that he got from a successful podcaster that he knows. Hint: he’s dating Lauren DIY. Yes, the famous YouTuber who dated Alex Wasabi.
