We discuss its beginnings , the journey and life of those taken into slavery and its abolition. In addition we examine the morals of the time and try and debunk some myths around this. We also look closer to home and discuss Glasgow’s relationship with the slave trade and the blind eye that is often tuned to this in Scottish society.
