This interview has been a long time coming and today Asia and Jareed will talk with one of their friends who is a black man and works as a police officer in New England. We’re discussing many aspects about his experience in law enforcement and how being a black man in the height of the Black Lives Matter movement has or has not affected how he does his job. We also discuss how police departments react/respond to the killing of black Americans at the hands of police officers, and his experience working the riots that follow. We want to thank our anonymous guest for having such an open and honest conversation about his unique experience.
