Welcome back for another dose of Don’t Know Her? and this week, we are focussing our first full episode on a Scottish performer! And is the wildly talented Kate Dickie. Kate may be familiar to many for popping up in some TV favourites like Game Of Thrones, but we want her to be celebrated much more for her terrific film work. This episode allows us to explore some types of film we haven’t so far as we dive into a handful of her works and chat about Red Road, The Green Knight, The Witch, For Those In Peril, and Prevenge. Following this, Michael tests Scott’s ear for Scots accents in our audio quiz. From there, we pose our wishes for Kate’s hopefully fruitful future in film. Scott was particularly excited to celebrate a homeland hero, but Michael became a fully-fledged fan after this episode. Hopefully, you will be sold on Kate too.
