This week we are talking to Michelle from @usthesedays! Michelle lives in Connecticut where she is mom to 3 year old pup Olive and her 1 year old daughter Hadley. You can find her outside playing in the dirt with her crew, rain or shine. She was diagnosed with narcolepsy after 20 years of misdiagnoses which is unfortunately so very common with sleep disorders. This experience made her passionate about sharing openly about narcolepsy, and more recently about motherhood and OCD. She is going back to school in the fall to get her Master's in Social Work with the goal of becoming a therapist. Michelle is an open source on how she has prioritized life with a dog, baby and family, how to set boundaries and how to advocate for yourself in a clinical setting. She has been a huge inspiration and expander for me in my mental health journey! You can find more of Michelle’s thoughts on her blog here.
