Learning Resilience With a Wheeled Up Pup

This week we are talking to K from @wheeled_up_pup! K, Jake and their two pups, Tyra and Rey live in Northern Virginia and are known for their account wheeled_up_pup. K brought Tyra home when she was just five weeks old after she was born with deformed front legs and was sent to be euthanized by the breeder. K and Jake helped Tyra learn to walk and figure out how to use her first set of wheels. It was clear she was now their dog after learning how to walk with them and her adoption was made official last Fall. Tyra is now a spunky 6 pound pup and has taught K so much about resilience, about seeing a story beneath a behavior, about being your full self unapologetically, and about prioritizing joy and playfulness.
