An abstract and interesting examination of the terror of the night, fear of the dark and power of religion and prayer. We learn that the dark evokes many emotions. Some love the dark, like astronomers for instance, whereas others still dislike darkness as they associate it with some traumatic event from their youth. (First Broadcast 1999)
