When Amy is separated from The Doctor and Rory she ends up having to wait about 36 years before she is able to see them again. On her own and fending for her life she grows accustomed to her loneliness and the only friendly handbot droid named Rory. Rory comes to save her and all his fantasies seem to come true when he ends up with two Amy's however he has to decide whether to take the Amy he knows and loves, or this future Amy who has hardened with time and space. Meanwhile the Doctor dabbles with large looking glass time machines and an unhappy TARDIS.
