In this episode of the Radical Radiance, host Rebecca George sits down with her literary agent, Blythe Daniel, and her daughter Calyn Daniel to discuss their newest book Let's Be Friends. This conversation talks about the challenges and frustrations of friendship, particularly for tween girls. Blythe shares about her role as a literary agent and how she helps shape and bring ideas to life, while Calyn offers her perspective on working alongside her mom and the importance of expressing thoughts and feelings through writing.

Calyn Daniel is a middle schooler and loves spending time with her friends and family, including older sister, Maris, and twin brother, William, who is also an author. She is a competitive gymnast and enjoys cooking. Calyn believes girls need to know who they are in Christ, how to navigate friend groups—especially when they change—and how to not lose sight of who God has made them to be.

Blythe Daniel is a literary agent and marketer with over 20 years of publishing experience. She writes for Crosswalk.com, Today's Christian Living, and Proverbs 31 Ministries. She links hundreds of bloggers with millions of readers through BlogAbout. Her passion is helping authors share their stories. She and her mother, Dr. Helen McIntosh, co-authored Mended: Restoring the Hearts of Mothers and Daughters and I Love You, Mom! Cherished Word Gifts From My Heart to Yours. Blythe lives in Colorado with her husband and three teenagers.
