Shanghai Disneyland has announced they will be re-opening to the public next week! The official re-opening date is set for Monday, May 11th. According to their official website “During this initial reopening phase, the park will institute new measures and procedures, including opening with limited attendance and required advanced ticketing and reservations, accommodating social distancing in queues, restaurants, ride vehicles and other facilities throughout the park, and implementing increased frequency of sensitization and disinfection.” – https://www.shanghaidisneyresort.com/en/

Calling all Star Wars fans! Disney Books is offering a free e book that will take you to a galaxy far far away. Every year, the Disneyland horticulture team celebrates Arbor Day by planting a tree at a local school in Anaheim. Due to the current closures, they had to improvise. Disneyland president, Rebecca Campbell, took a trip to Norco CA to visit some of Main Street USA’s four legged friends at Circle D Ranch. Disney began pre-selling cloth face masks this week. The masks come in a four pack and prints include Mickey and Minnie, Star Wars, Pixar, Princesses, Marvel, and character faces. Disney also announced that they will be donating 1 million face masks to underserved and vulnerable communities across the United States. Due to high demand, Disney has already met their goal and will be donating $1 million in profits from the sales of the face masks. To help celebrate Star Wars Day, a new Droid Depot app is now available. For those of you that built your own droid at the Droid Dept in Galaxy’s Edge, this app allows you to bring your BB or R series unit to life at home! For those of us that have not built a droid yet, the app also has a virtual droid building experience!
