It's never a bad idea to get out in the woods and cover some ground in early spring before the woods green up. But there is a risk to putting too much stock into certain aspects of what you learn. In years past, Garrett had chosen to hunt areas almost entirely off of intel gained in the off-season, which can be fine during certain times of the year, but could be wasting time in others without paying attention to additional contextual clues.
