A better life isn't just for somebody else with Monique Fitzgerald!

Monique Fitzgerald is a registered dental hygienist in Waterbury, Connecticut. Monique earned her AS from Tunxis Community College and her BGS form UCONN. She has worked in private practice since 2010. In addition, in 2014, Monique became an educational assistant for the Dental Hygiene program at TXCC. Having put off her studies to raise her family, Monique began her career in dental hygiene as a “non-traditional” student, and believes that her experience enables her to relate to and motivate her students to set and achieve their goals. She further advocates for hygiene students as a mentor through TXCC’s mentorship program and for high school students from Sacred Heart High in Waterbury and Naugatuck High School, in conjunction with their guidance departments. She has also participated in Connecticut’s Mission of Mercy, Special Olympics, and in a service learning project providing dental care to school children on the Navajo Reservation in Monument Valley Utah. Monique and her husband Brian currently reside in Plantsville and are the proud parents of Hannah and Noah.
