Most sports fans are at least aware of the 'The Rumble in the Jungle.' The epic heavyweight fight between George Foreman and Muhammad Ali took place in Kinshasa, Zaire on October 30, 1974 and is widely considered to be one of the most iconic sporting the events the world has ever seen. 

The young Foreman was a 4-1 favorite over the cagey veteran Ali, and the fight that would ensue would be one of the more legendary bouts in boxing history.    Another key aspect of the fight was that this was a great time in boxing history with Ali, Foreman and Joe Frazier all fighting each other in epic bouts. You might remember some of those like the 'Fight of the Century' Ali/Frazier 1 and of course the 'Thrilla in Manila' which would happen after this fight, and the 3rd installment of the Ali/Frazier trilogy.    What also made this fight unique was the against-the-grain strategy Ali used to tactically beat Foreman. That strategy would become known as the rope-a-dope.
