The 2002 NBA Western Conference Finals between the Lakers and Kings is widely considered as one of the best series in league history. With all the hype along with the time period being right in our wheelhouse, we thought it was a must watch for the podcast.

So that's what we're doing on this episode.

Nearly 20 years later this game holds up and may even be a little bit underrated as we discuss. We go through not only the game itself, but look back at a snapshot of the league at that time which will definitely take you down memory lane.    On this episode we discuss:   - Ben attending Games 1 & 2 of this series in ARCO Arena - Better cowbell scene: ARCO or Starkville, MS? - Could a team led by Mike Bibby and Chris Webber win a championship? - The height of the Kobe, Shaq era and Phil Jackson the "Zen Master" - The series up until this point and suspect refs in Game 6 - Big Shot Bob = early 2000s hoops - One of the best 4th quarters in playoff history - Bibby is so clutch, Webber and Christie not so much - Early 2000s Bill Walton as an analyst   We'll talk all this and more on the show.
