Today we go back 12 years to Super Bowl 42 in Glendale, Arizona, where Tom Brady and the New England Patriots were one game away from the second perfect season in NFL history. All they had to do was beat the New York Giants, who reached the playoffs with a 10-6 record and a Wild Card bid.

This record-setting Patriots offense had cruised through regular season at 16-0 and was a 12-point favorite to knock off Tom Couglin's Giants.
