Kobe and Shaq produced three championships for the Los Angeles Lakers but that almost never happened. The duo, under first-year head coach Phil Jackson, nearly blew a 3-1 lead over the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2000 Western Conference Finals. We never think about how the dynasty got started, but it took a 15-point comeback in the fourth quarter to avoid making history for the wrong reasons and it was all punctuated by the alley-oop from Kobe to Shaq and the subsequent reaction by the Big Diesel. 

Today we go back 20 years to watch that pivotal game in NBA history as Rasheed Wallace and the Blazers nearly knocked off the Lakers in the newly-opened Staples Center.
