What are Disney Genie and Disney Genie+? Disney recently introduced a new Disney Genie service for guests, coming this fall for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland California. The Disney Genie service will be a free service for all parks guests, offering personalized itineraries based on your preferences, as well as other features designed to enhance your visit to the parks. Disney also announced the Disney Genie+ service, which will be available to purchase for park guests and essentially takes the place of FastPasses (and MaxPass at Disneyland). Lastly, Disney announced that parkgoers will have the option to purchase Lightning Lane passes for individual attractions.

This is all quite complex with several unanswered questions still out there, including which attractions will fall under Genie+ and which attractions will have Lightning Lane passes available to purchase. In this episode, I break down each of these services, and I share my honest thoughts about what we know so far about each service.
