This week, instead of April Foolin' like last year, we've decided to take the time to tackle a subject near and dear to our hearts: Hideaki Anno and discuss the Return of Ultraman fan-film he produced in his years at university. We feel that with the impending 2021 release of Shin Ultraman, his long-awaited "official" entry into the Ultra Series, this would be as good a time as any to delve into the man's work and sort of set the stage for an eventual double-dose of Anno as we plan to talk both Shin Godzilla and Shin Ultraman when we get to that point in our long journey.
