Director Showdown is back with ‘Slacker’ to kickstart season 2!

This season, Adam and Brent are facing off Nicolas Winding Refn vs Richard Linklater; The hit directors of such films as ‘Drive’, ‘Only God Forgives’, ‘Neon Demon’, and ‘School of Rock’, ‘Boyhood’ and ‘Dazed and Confused’! They kick things off with Linklater’s 1991 cult-classic and directorial debut ‘Slacker’. Neither of the boys have seen it (which is a first for the podcast) so they have a great time unpacking their thoughts, as well as talking of growing up near Austin and the authenticity the movie captures. A synth-y new intro song! More Tom Hanks talk! Fireworks galore! It’s going to be a great season, so enjoy the first episode and watch along with the episodes!
