INTRODUCTION:
The goal of today's teaching:
• Bring historical and cultural knowledge of A wedding in Galilee in the time of
Jesus.
• I have as a goal that Jesus is revealed to you for the first time and for the rest that
they affirm themselves in Him.
• In the end that this teaching serve as a basis for greater illumination,
understanding and application of the teaching behind the culture
• When we make a study of the Word of God, we find the Biblical cultures
described there such as the Hebrew, Egyptian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Persian,
Greek and Roman cultures among many others.
The gospel of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ is typified in
"A Wedding in Galilee"
• How Christ gave Himself for His church
• How the church separates itself for Christ
• How Christ returns for His Church
ALL of this is typified in the Galilean culture.
Jesus' disciples and early Christians never had a problem understanding this gospel
because Jesus revealed Himself to them in their cultural traditions.
