INTRODUCTION:
We have all approached places that are protected by bars or fences that separate
passers-by from the rest of the property. They usually have several warning
notices such as: "do not enter," "danger!", "High voltage cables", or some similar
message. The amount of signs would seem like an unnecessary repetition of
something that would seem obvious, but is not.
In the same way, the Bible is full of "signs" that warn humanity of the danger of
believing that there is a "supreme being" without the need for further
specifications as to its reality.
A faith in God without Christ is highly dangerous.
Believing in God is not enough. There are many who believe, but they have no
genuine faith and therefore no relationship with Him. It is not possible to have a
relationship with the Father without Christ, because only Jesus saves. There is no
other mediator, there is no other Savior. There is only one plan of salvation, There
is only one plan of salvation, we cannot invent or try others, because they are all
void.
The enemy of God, Satan, seeks to deceive people into making them think that it
is possible to have a relationship with God te Father without Christ having
anything to do with the process of faith. That's why Paul said it that way in:
1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men,
the Man Christ Jesus”
