Join us as we celebrate our three decades of dedication to digital health leadership with this special edition podcast! For each of the 30 weeks until our Fall Forum, we’ll visit with digital health leaders who have made a very special impact on CHIME, including many of our Board Chairs.

In this episode, Russ chats with CHIME’s 2018 Board Chair, Cletis Earle, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine.

Earle discusses his work to promote inclusion during his time as CHIME Board Chair. The goal of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives is to bring together people with diverse ideas and from all cultural perspectives to help the healthcare industry solve societal problems.

Earle highlights the unique, collaborative climate at CHIME where members are dedicated to sharing knowledge and resources. He credits many of his CHIME experiences as well as several CHIME mentors for playing an important role in his career success.

Looking to the future, Earle explores the need to understand the next generation now moving into public life and consumer life. To serve Gen Z, healthcare organizations will need to be agile and move fast to keep up with the next generation's expectations in the digital environment.
