In these volatile times, state and local governments must think outside the box and embrace technology much faster than normal to improve operating efficiencies and create better outcomes at lower costs. Kentucky State Senator Brandon Smith and Dr. Brian Houillion join Jonathan & Michael to discuss the recently passed Kentucky Senate Bill 55 and the effort to drive new efficiency in information and security of data at the state and local government level.

In this episode, the guests reflect the experience of getting the legislation passed with overwhelming bipartisan support, and the myriad of use cases the newly formed blockchain working group will explore, develop and implement.
