I've been a fan of Darren's work since Bastion first hit the gaming scene back in the early 2010s. His consistent great work and ability to convey any kind of mood or tone with his audio really impressed me. As the podcast is now 4 years old we begin to mature and look to other disciplines to inform and strengthen our own. Darren was an easy pick for that first venture into something different. We talked about his composing work from Bastion to HADES and how he felt he's grown since the inception of Supergiant Games. We also looked back and tried to pick apart any advice or ideas he now had thinking about his span and career in audio. My thanks again to Darren for giving up his time.
