Dave Ayres rose to International fame on a February night in Toronto when the Hurricanes lost both goalies to injury. That’s when the zamboni driver/practice goalie entered the game and backstopped the Canes to a 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs.

Once Dave entered as the emergency backup up goalie (EBUG) his life changed forever. Tripp and Dave dig into who will play him in the upcoming movie, his kidney transplant experience and many never before told stories behind the scenes from Dave Ayres’ night.
