Jordan and Marc Staal were born less than two years apart and have both found their ways to long successful NHL careers. Jordan, the Canes captain after winning a cup in ’09 with the Pens. Marc, a 13-year fixture on the Rangers steady defense.
Now they find themselves facing off in a best-of-5 NHL qualifier series, winner goes to the playoffs.
The Staal family is large and impactful on the hockey world. They’re also impactful on the world as a whole, founding the Staal Family Foundation.(www.staalfoundation.org) It gives back to communities where they live & work, providing help for children with cancer.
