In episode #27, James and Jeff talk about Momentum! Not just for cement trucks and bowling balls, momentum is hugely important in jazz. How are some improvisers able to play lines that seem to have incredible and inexorable direction? Why do their solo sound "right," but our solos, using the same notes, just "don't have it?" By adjusting just two things, we can find more momentum and energy in our playing, almost immediately. Enlightenment awaits!
