Different Roads, Same Castle

It is a series of conversations that hopes to return trust and respect to the discussion of politics in our modern fractious landscape. Two brothers and a father…republican, democrat, and independent. While news programs bring on those with opposing views for the sake of argument, we come together as family. We will look for agreement when possible, and disagree when our conscience deems it necessary-respectfully not deferentially. Maybe perhaps by no longer vilifying the opposition, but listening, really listening, to the needs, hopes, and fears of those with whom we don’t automatically agree, we will find a road forward. It may not be the same road, but sometimes different roads lead to the same castle.
