At this point, it's a well-documented part of the DYR brand for u/itsyerdad to hate elders. So, u/dogboobes makes a valiant, and ultimately successful effort to sway his totally rational bias by leading an empathy-packed episode investigating r/askoldpeople; a sub designed to let the youth of today converse with people who have lived through VCRs and ham radios. Sometimes nostalgic, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes sad, and sometimes just goddamn adorable, r/askoldpeople is certainly a part of the more kind-hearted corners of the Reddit, and a fascinating look into the past from the perspective of the people who know what it used to be like. It turns out, u/itsyerdad is a flip-flopper and doesn't hate old people as much as he claims. What a p0ser. This episode brought to you by Werther's Originals and Readers Digest.
