Hello, and welcome to Diaries of a Lady Gardener!

If you think gardening is cool and would rather take a trip to the garden centre than go out out, then you’ve found the right podcast. But also, you’re not in the minority.

Research from Draper Tools has revealed that over 80% of young people officially think gardening is cool, mainly because of its benefits for mental health and the environment.

Draper Tools are back for season 2 as sponsors of the Diaries of a Lady Gardener podcast, so why not join me in following them on Instagram, “at Draper underscore tools”?

In this episode, which I was buzzing to record IN PERSON! I got to meet the lovely Meg from Equinox Artisan and learn all about medicinal herbs, foraging and a little miracle pot of gold that I am now officially obsessed with, along with some other amazing products. Meg is also a volunteer beekeeper at the National Trust Arlington Court and a fountain of knowledge. We had such a lovely day recording the podcast, eating cake, drinking tea and roaming around Arlington. I came away feeling super inspired and like I’d had the best kind of therapy session. Enjoy!

Meg is such a lovely lady. Since our day out I’ve been out foraging quite a few times testing my new-found knowledge, plus, I now never leave the house without a pot of gold, it really does work miracles on nettle stings. I can’t wait to book in for her foraging walks and that tempting herby-cocktail session. Don’t forget to find her on Instagram and keep up with her adventures @equinox_mama and @equnox_artisan.
