Episode 7

Today's episode discusses a very important topic: the stigma associated with diabetes and its impact on our culture. Representations of diabetes, plays a critical role in the trajectory and evolution of the diabetic community and for many, those stigmas play a role in how individuals manage their conditions day to day.

Join us as, Davis and Stacy talk with Heather Walker and Bianca Frazer, authors of the forthcoming book, “Diabetes on Display,” about their personal stories and their advocacy regarding diabetes stigma and its impact on the community.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to talk about this critical, yet underserved topic with Heather and Bianca. Thank you both for all you do for the community!
