Next Episode: Episode 23 - Kyle Kinane

This week Rosie welcomes Michael Blaustein (of Stiff Socks Podcast.) The two remember life in New York in their early twenties, when they met as scene partners in William Esper’s Acting Conservatory. Rosebud was three days sober, Michael was bright-eyed and bushy-haired, and despite their completely different personalities, they stayed close friends years after they’d graduated. Michael convinced Rosebud to try standup (big mistake,) then moved to L.A. and started the Stiff Socks podcast, which has completely taken off. He even gave Rosebud (AND HER DOG) a couch to sleep on after she’d broken off a five-year-long relationship and needed to leave the East Coast for awhile. What a friend. They also chat about adopting puppies together in the beginning of quarantine. It’s a real coming-of-age story, but nobody ever grows up. Bad Advice for a listener who can’t pick a side gig.

Side note: Sorry to everyone for the spots in the podcast where the audio isn’t ideal. Please blame Michaels AirPods.
