Computer programing was largely considered “women’s work” when the first programable digital computer was being developed in the 1940s. Today, less than 17% of students graduating in computer science and information technology are women. Why is this? What can we do about it? And why is it important?

Michelle Scheuerman, Dev Technology Vice President, and Becky Crane, Dev Technology Program Manager talk about the history and future of women in IT, some of their personal experiences, and how we can help encourage women in IT.
