In recognition of Cybersecurity Awareness month, we decided to speak on the topic of Women of Color in Cybersecurity. Sherri Elliott, Senior Project Manager and Information System Security Officer joins John Janek as a guest host to interview Renata Spinks, Cyber Technology Officer (CTO), Senior Executive Service Member for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Marine Forces Cyberspace Command. We discussed Ms. Spinks journey thorough IT and Cybersecurity, including her highs and lows, and what she believes needs to happen for women to continue to break through barriers.
