About Jeff:


Jeffrey A. Brentley has a passion for helping people develop the skills to navigate life’s challenges and achieve their dreams.  

He is a licensed clinical social worker and is the founder of Finding Clarity.  

Born and raised in Detroit MI, Jeff received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University. He is also a graduate of Columbia University where he obtained a Master of Science in Social Work .  

While living in New York City and Syracuse NY he worked extensively with children, adults, couples, and families as a therapist in a number of areas including addiction, family conflicts, family-child separation, adoption, mental health, school related behavioral problems, and more.  In addition to providing direct care, he has held multiple managerial roles in non-profits throughout his career. 

Having moved to Alexandria in the summer of 2016 he continued his passion for helping others and is the founder of Finding Clarity. 

Finding Clarity is a mental health service provider aiming to help those in need find inner peace and mental clarity through personalized counseling.  Finding Clarity provides therapy in a virtual capacity to those in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
